Hanna Atallah is a filmmaker, producer, and cultural arts manager, based between Jerusalem and Berlin. He is the founder and artistic director of FilmLab: Palestine and also created the Palestinian Documentation Project in Talbiyeh Refugee Camp in Jordan.

 

FilmLab is a non-profit company based in Ramallah and is designed to empower young Palestinian talents to tell their personal history and document their collective memory, build production infrastructure, develop audience awareness and foster a cinema culture that opens doors for a regional and international network of Palestinian film professionals. FilmLab also builds audiences through its internationally respected annual Palestine Cinema Days International Film Festival.

Hanna’s experience covers both fiction and documentary film projects, and he has been a producer on A House in Jerusalem (2023) and the award-winning The Reports on Sarah and Saleem (2018).
